Recently a large number of Victorian schools have experienced a great success with 1:1 student laptop / netbook programs resulting in students becoming more engaged in what they are doing in the classroom and making better connections to the world around them at home and at school.

My personal experiences as a teacher and ICT Leader who eas involved in the recent Victorian Statewide trial is that netbooks dramatically sped up the learning process in the classroom and extended the enquiry process at home. Students thoroughly enjoyed using their netbook in the class and seemed to be far more enthusiastic about learning when the netbooks were being utilised.

We  leave your existing technician to deal with school and staff computer issues. Their only responsibiltiy in this program is to intially join the computers to your school network and ensure your network is running correctly.  *TechZoo does not take any responisbility for  network or server issues at your school this is your technicians job to ensure this side is taken care of.

TechZoo will deal with all hardware and software faults on the netbook itself such as faulty hard drives, cracked screens, loss of functionality or any other issue hat is stopping students from using them effectively all for one low flat annual fee that is padded into cost which is divided between the school and parents.

We will arrive on site to come and service and if need be collect the netbook.  If it it cannot be fixed on site students will be provided with a loan netbook to use at school only in the interim.  Generally most off site  problems will be fixed in 1 - 3 days with the exception of warranty based issues in which the unit is returned to the manufacturer and is returned at their discretion.
